Aberration is a Photopoetry suite of 37 poems produced with randomly selected English words and photographs made by Jean-Philippe Gauvrit.
In a world of representation saturated with images and buzz words, the author, a lifelong poet and a photographer, explored what playing with poetry and photography still means to him, and how their paths could cross beyond reality, concepts, and sense. This book is about playfulness, about using randomness and a minimalist material, and let creativity find its own flow, like real life does, welcoming and appreciating whatever emerges, with detachment.
